Pavel Andreevich Zhilin, a marvellous person to all who met him, has sadly passed away.

He was a brilliant scientist, reaching human perfection in the understanding of natural laws. A talented pedagogue, he gave inspiration to a remarkable new generation of investigators. Above all, he was a man of heart, a responsive, kind person, who found time for everyone, always giving his full support and benefit of his wise advice.

It is impossible to imagine scientific life in the Institute without Pavel Andreevich Zhilin, but the laws of death remain beyond our control.

Thank you for everything, Pavel Andreevich!
