Scientific Programme
The main topic of the School is concerned with the current problems
of fundamental and applied
mechanics, including, but not restricted to

solid mechanics

fluid and gas mechanics

wave motion and acoustics
-
nonlinear oscillations, chaos, stability and control

dynamics of rigid bodies
-
numerical analysis
-
computational mechanics
-
mechanical and civil engineering applications
Three different forms of presentations are offered, namely,
plenary lectures (1 hour), presentations at minisymposia
(30 minutes), and short communications (20 minutes).
Working languages are English and Russian
(if Russian, English translation will be provided).

Time-Table Scheme
Abbreviations: O is the opening ceremony, LS is the session devoted
to the memory of A.I. Lurie, MS is a minisymposium, S
is a usual session, JS is the joint session on vibration of "Mekhanobr"
institute and APM 2000, C is the closing ceremony.
Room A is situated between 3 and 4 buildings of ``Zarya'' hotel,
room B is situated between 1 and 2 buildings.
